17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the deeply set eye sockets, painted long curly lashes, rose blushed eyeshadow, thick brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully jointed body, lovely teal blue silk dress with lace trim, undergarments, kidskin boots impressed with figure of doll and "7" by Alart. Condition: generally excellent, small flake at pierced ear hole. Marks: FR 7. Comments: Falck-Roussel, circa 1886. Value Points: very rare model with very distinctive expression, deeply-modeled dimples at lip corners, philtrum and chin, very fine bisque and painting.
