10" (25 cm.) The carved wooden chair has ebony finish with gilded stenciling and accents, and is upholstered in original hand-knotted tufted gold silk with woven banding. Ex-collection Washington Dolls' House and Toy Museum. Generally excellent, some age spotting on seat. Circa 1880, French.
