22" (56 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with plump face, brown sculpted hair waved softly away from face in short pageboy curls at back, modeled ears, painted eyes in well-defined eye sockets, closed mouth, muslin stitch-jointed body, porcelain lower limbs, cotton print calico dress, undergarments. Condition: generally excellent, body and limbs are later. Comments: Germany, circa 1875. Value Points: rare model, the head was designed to be presented as either a man or woman, having short hair (rare brown hair color) and sculpted bodice with collar and blue polka dot bow tie.
