Description
21" (53 cm.) h. x 22"l. The rosewood canopy bed of finest rosewood and mahogany has matching foot and headboards and is surmounted by an arched canopy frame above the center bed, accented with rich bronze mounts including beadwork, lady's head, finials, and filigree crown. The bed is fitted with original rich satin bedding and canopy. Excellent condition. France, circa 1865, the luxe quality, style of wood and mounts indicate original presentation in the prestige shop of Maison Giroux of Paris.
