13" (33 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulder head with sculpted light brown hair with defined topknot, intaglio-sculpted bulbous blue googly eyes that are glancing downward to the right, black and incised upper eyeliner, short wavy brows, accented eye corners and nostrils of rounded nose, closed mouth with accented lips, impressed dimples at lip corners, very plump cheeks, kid pin-jointed body, bisque forearms, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 8599 Heubach (in square) 4. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1914. Value Points: very rare model with crisp and well-defined sculpting, finest bisque and painting, and a superb rascally expression.
