25" (64 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted shaded blue eyes with darker pupil rims, thick black upper eyeliner, incised eyeliner, short tapered brows, accented nostrils of rounded-tip nose, closed mouth with very full shaded lips in petulant pouting pose, dimpled chin and philtrum, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 114 64. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1910, the model "Gretchen" from the firm's art character series. Value Points: very rare large size of the pivotal doll, with outstanding quality of sculpting, and absolutely flawless bisque overall, original body finish and wig.
