20" (51 cm.) Ebony-black complexioned bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, slightly-modeled brush-stroked brows with decorative glaze, accented nostrils of upturned nose, open mouth with very full coral-shaded lips, row of porcelain teeth, pierced ears, black mohair wig, black composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1358 Germany S&H Simon & Halbig 7. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. Value Points: very beautiful and flawless complexion with luminous gleam, superb painting of lips, original wig, original body and body finish, fine antique costume including velvet-flowered bonnet, red woolen jacket, red woolen stockings, shoes, and undergarments.
