12" (30 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta head, sculpted brown hair peeking out the sides of a red painted snood with green edging, painted eyes, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted blue stockings and red clogs, wearing original well-detailed folklore costume with paper lined apron, red silk ribbons. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, early 1800s, rare modeled snood.
