Description
21" (53 cm.) All composition with socket head, brown sleep eyes, real lashes, smokey-grey eyelids and eyeshadow, unique painting of lashes, brushstroked brows, closed mouth with very full bow-shaped red lips, brunette upswept hair with turquoise bead accents, jointing at shoulders and hips, slender limbs. She is wearing lavender brocade (zipper back) gown with shapely bodice given form by sewn-in metal bosom, pleated shoulder fans and very full skirt and with purple velvet streamer with garland of flowers, satin petticoat and panties, purple shoes with ankle straps, and holding a bouquet of flowers. Fair/good, some crazing on face and body, costume faded. Madame Alexander, 1940 from her Portrait Series of that year.
