Description
12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, short wavy brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open with outlined lips, defined tongue and two porcelain beaded teeth, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, antique costume, socks and shoes. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish except one thumb restored. Marks: K&H (in banner) Germany 161-1. Comments: Kley and Hahn, circa 1912. Value Points: choice bisque and well-modeled features such as dimpled cheeks.
