Description
13" (33 cm.) Felt swivel head, pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, grey eye shadow, closed mouth, black mohair wig, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (original Lenci cloth and paper labels, one indicating #31), another lettered "Zampognaro" (bagpipe player). Comments: Lenci, circa 1935, the popular costume was made in several models by Lenci. Value Points: near mint condition, rich vibrant colors, wearing original complete rare costume and holding felt bagpipe.
