Description
10" (25 cm.) x 7". The light wood box with decorative paper cover, centered by gilt lettered label "Petite Brodeuse", hinges open to a well-fitted interior of embroidery tools and materials, including stamped linen samplers, little glass-fronted boxes of beads, little boxes with lithographed covers including a little girl holding a doll, wooden bobbins, bone sewing tools, silver scissors, and unusual fish-shaped bone tool. Excellent condition, all-original. French, circa 1890.
