Description
14" (36 cm.) Of lush cream mohair with shaved snout, black embroidered nose, large amber glass eyes, swivel head, toddler-shaped body with short stuffed legs, felt paw pads, and with Swiss music box in torso which plays a merry tune when the torso is squeezed, released and repeated. The bear wears rare original felt party hat with pom-poms, and wrist ruffles. Germany, circa 1920, the bear is attributed to Moritz Pappe and few examples are known to exist. Excellent condition, slight dustiness of pom-poms, music plays beautifully, very lush mohair.
