16" (42 cm.) Bisque socket head, tiny blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with pouting expression, outlined lips, brunette human hair braids, composition and wooden ball-jointed body with side-hip jointing and chubby stomach. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 115A 43. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912. Value Points: especially fine detail of sculpting enhancing the deeply modeled wistful features, fine quality of bisque, original body and body finish, antique costume.
