Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded outlined lips, ears pierced into head, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent, kid wear at one wrist, kid repair on left fingers. Comments: French, circa 1875. Value Points: lovely pale bisque, brilliant eyes and eye decoration, original wig with soft curls and original interwoven ribbons, antique cotton fashion ensemble with embroidered lace edging, undergarments, unusual tri-tone kid ankle boots.
