12 1/2" (32 cm.) Bisque socket head, tiny brown glass eyes, painted curly lashes, one-stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with very full lips, accent line between the lips, pierced ears, auburn mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, lovely silk costume, undergarments, socks and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Simon & Halbig S&H I. Comments: Simon and Halbig, from a rare series of Roman numeral marked characters which also included IV, circa 1915. Value Points: very beautiful rare doll with fine detail of sculpting including cheek dimples, original body and body finish.
