19" (48 cm.) Wax over paper mache shoulder head, blue glass sleep eyes, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig, muslin body with paper mache lower limbs, sculpted stockings and blue boots with painted heels and toes. Condition: very good/excellent, some fading of features. Comments: Germany, circa 1880. Value Points: the doll is preserved with original labeled box "Powell's, Wax Figure and Papier Mache Works, Market Street San Francisco, Cal.". and has an antique doll trunk containing additional handmade costumes and accessories.
