10" (25 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta head, ebony black complexion, tightly-cropped fleeced hair, enamel eyes, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted blue stockings, red ankle boots with accented edges, wearing gold silk costume with metallic gilt tunic front. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
