Description
4 1/2" (11 cm.) l. The 14 Kt gold watch has a porcelain face with stylized gold lettering and black cord straps. The watch is signed E. Mathey-Tissot & Co. The reverse of the watch is inscribed "Shirley from Jimmy Xmas ‘34". The watch was a gift from James (Jimmy) Dunn celebrating the three important films made by Temple and Dunn during that year, and despite its tiny size, which Shirley Temple quickly outgrew, she cherished the gift her entire life.
