Description
16" (41 cm.) All-wooden doll with carved socket head, carved hair in deep combmarks with loose curls onto forehead, deeply set painted eyes, closed mouth with downcast lips, wooden spring-jointed body, wearing boy's suit. Condition: head has original finish albeit a bit faded, some repainting or repair to body. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan 17,'11 USA & Foreign Countries. Comments: Schoenhut. model 201, from original sculpture by Graziano, and inspired by Kammer and Reinhardt's 114 model, 1911. Value Points: the rare model was made for one year only.
