Description
15" (38 cm.) Brunette curly hair with bangs, walking style body. Wearing tagged party ensemble featuring an organdy blouse with coral velvet neck ribbon, lace ruffled sleeves, cotton flowered black skirt with rhinestone accents and coral-pink hem edging that matches her petticoat, satin panties, socks, black slipper shoes with gilt ties. Excellent condition. Alexander, model 1515, with original square gilt wrist tag "Maggie", curler box, original box with Fashion Award label stamped 1515, 1952. The doll was advertised in the 1952 catalog as "the teen-age doll that has everything", described as having many lovely clothes although this costume was the one chosen to be photographed in that catalog.
