7" (18 cm.) h. 6"l. Perched on the lid of a porcelain dresser box is a lady kneeling, semi-clad in yellow sun suit and white stockings with blue garters, having angular-cut bobbed black hair and bangs, and unusual heart-shaped face with little smile. She is gazing at a bumblebee which is crawling across the lid of the box. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1920, unusual novelty design is accentuated with a border of purple pansies and tasseled bows at the sides of base.
