Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, brilliant blue glass paperweight inset eyes with spiral threading, richly painted eyeliner, lashes and brows, mauve-blushed eye shadow, closed mouth with tiny modeled tongue tip, dimpled chin, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, Bru kid bebe body with scalloped-edge kid collarette, gusset-jointed limbs, bisque forearms with beautifully sculpted fingers, antique blue silk bebe costume with lace trim, undergarments, bonnet, socks, and leather shoes signed Bru Jne Paris 7. Marks: Bru Jne 7 (head and shoulders). Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1882. Value Points: fine example from the Golden Age of Bru, with glorious face, artistic painting, splendid eyes, sturdy body with perfect bisque hands.
