Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,blue glass inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,arched brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with center accent line,brunette mohair wig over cork pate,French kid gusset-jointed body with gusset jointing at hips and knees,stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2 (head). Mon. Simonne Rue de Rivoli 188 (stamp on chest). Comments: circa 1867,the poupee was presented from the prestige Parisian doll shop of Simonne,in its original trunk with original Simonne paper label. Value Points: the petite Parisienne has original trunk,and owns an extensive vintage trousseau in fine antique fabrics,including lace wedding gown,delightful silk jester costume with hat and shoes,silk patterned gown with matching jacket,wonderful paisley skirt and hooped cape,two additional ensembles and various other costume elements,two pairs of shoes,jewelry and such.
