22" (56 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead of plump faced woman, blonde sculpted hair with graduated-length finger curls, painted facial features, blue eyes in deeply-defined sockets, red and black upper eyeliner, brown single stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, muslin stitch-jointed body, kid arms. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1865. Value Points: especially fine detail of combmarked hair and defined sockets, eye crinkles, impressed philtrum, and wearing original red linsey-woolsey plaid dress with black velvet trim, matching cape with fur trim, undergarments, shoes and socks.
