Description
7" (18 cm.) All-bisque Kewpie with classic features of topknot, forelock, side-glancing googly eyes, blue wings, impish smile; with impressed O'Neill on the feet and a paper red heart label, preserved in original (worn) box. Along with a pair of Kewpie Huggers costumed as bride and groom; he with crepe paper suit and tall top hat. Generally excellent. Germany, Kewpie designed by Rose O'Neill, circa 1912.
