Description
Of luxurious ivory silk satin, the high-waist gown features horizontal pleats on the yoke above loose box pleats that give fullness to the gown, very full bishop sleeves with dark shaping at the shoulder, two bands of box-pleated tulle at the hem and with generous accent of wide silk ribbon and sash, and with little applique rose silk petals and garlands of flowers on the shoulders. Attached to the sash is a wooden-handled silk fan with tinsel decorated crepe paper blades. Along with a matching wire-framed bonnet of draped and flounced tulle, with very wide brim, decorated with a garland of rose petals, and with a wide silk ribbon band and bow to match the dress sash.
