22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, lushly-painted lashes, brushstroked brows with fringed detail, accented eye corners and nostrils, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette hand-tied human hair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden body with walking-style body, Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Bru JneR 9. Comments: Maison Bru, circa 1892. Value Points: wearing rose silk and lace dress with very elaborate original bonnet, rose net stockings, and rose satin shoes with Paris Depose imprint and bee symbol, the dress with original silk label "Je parle, je marche, j'envoir des baisers" (I speak, I walk, I throw kisses) which the doll does when the legs are moved back and forth.
