14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined shaded lips, pierced ears, ash-blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball jointed body with straight wrists, wearing antique organdy dress with lace trim, rose silk bows, undergarments, stockings, kidskin ankle boots. Condition: generally excellent, light retouch on fingers. Marks: R 3/0 D. Comments: Rabery and Delphieu, circa 1885. Value Points: large brown eyes dramatically enhance the softly blushed complexion, finest bisque.
