15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head with flat-cut neck socket, black glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, prominent strong nose, closed mouth with piquant smile, impressed cheek dimples, long sculpted sideburns, kid poupee body with shapely torso, stitched and separated fingers, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1875. Value Points: rare gentleman doll with unusual sculpting of sideburns, expressive features.
