Very Rare French Brass Bebe Bracelet Incised "Medaille d'Or Jumeau"

1 1/2" (4 cm.) diam. (suitable for bebe Jumeau sizes 10-12). The pressed brass bracelet with button closure has embossed brass florets, the center floret with a faux "ruby", and is incised "Medaille d'Or" and "Jumeau", Excellent condition. French, circa 1885, very rare accessory manufactured by Jumeau, of which few examples are known to exist. It is likely, although uncertain, that the bracelet was created as a special promotional object for a special exhibition or event.
