Solid domed bisque socket head,sculpted light brown hair in short boyish style with detailed sculpting of curls onto the forehead and behind the fully modeled ears,painted blue upper glancing eyes,black upper eyeliner,one-stroke brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with accented center line,composition and wooden ball-jointed body,antique white wool tunic and pants,shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 153 S&H 4 1/2. Comments: Simon and Halbig,circa 1910,from their rare art character series. Value Points: the rarity of the character is rivaled by its very fine characterization and sculpting of hair with enhancing glaze.
