Waist-up porcelain figure of nude lady with sculpted grey hair arranged in very high looped top knot which is decorated with four gold combs set with teal stones, her arms posed away from body with daintily-posed fingers, and a blue painted butterfly held in her right hand. Marks: (blue bishop's staff stamp). Excellent condition. Germany, Dressel & Kister, the splendid and very rare half-dolls is notable not only for the grand size, but also for unique modeling and decoration of hair, butterfly theme, and well-detailed painting of features especially brows.
