Description
18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, small brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with very full lips enhanced by decorative glaze, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, wearing antique blue flannel sailor suit with matching cap, stockings, shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117/A 46. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, the model marketed as "Mein Liebling", circa 1912. Value Points: very expressive features are enhanced by fine luminous bisque, with detailing especially around the nose and mouth, very full outlined lips.
