18" (46 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with sculpted curly bangs of blonde hair peeking beneath a sculpted draped shawl that ties at front bodice and is crowned with a ruffled-edge purple coronet, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, downcast lips, blushed cheeks, muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms, wearing silk and velvet burgundy fashion costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 996 # 6. Comments: Alt, Beck and Gottschalk, circa 1875. Value Points: rare model with exquisite detail of sculpting and fine luminous finish.
