3" (8 cm.) Each is all porcelain with removable lid for access to hollow interior, and each lid has a sculpted porcelain vignette depicting a scene of children at play, including little girl playing with dog, a ball and toy at his feet; mother with two little girls (lid re-glued); man with bagpipe and two little children dancing alongside; three children gazing at their reflections in a mirrored pool; and three little girls seated at a table playing with Noah's Ark. Excellent condition but as noted. Germany, circa 1860, a wonderful section of childhood themes.
