12" (30 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, pale blue glass inset eyes with darker blue outer iris rims, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, auburn mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips, knees and elbows. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 0. Comments: French, circa 1870, attributed to Emile Jumeau. Value Points: beautiful eyes are complemented by delicate bisque and subtle cheek blush, lovely antique costume.
