Description
7 1/2" (19 cm.) Bisque socket head with white complexion, painted blue clown decorations, black glass eyes, thick curvy brows, long pointy nose with blue tip, closed mouth, carrot red topknot hair, French composition body with jointing at shoulders and hips, painted shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, Denamur, circa 1890. Value Points: wonderful painted decoration, wearing original silk jester costume with ruffled collar and decorations, and preserved in original box.
