Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep-eyes will open and close by turning knob at the back of head, dark eyeliner, lushly-painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, original chemise. Condition: generally excellent, eye mechanism functions well. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 2. Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1885, the knob-turning sleeping eye mechanism was the first depose of Emile Jumeau. Value Points: beautiful bebe with very fine bisque and painting, original wig, original body and body finish, original chemise, rare deposed eye mechanism.
