Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, large blue glass paperweight eyes with brilliant color and depth, dark eyeliner, delicately-painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid bebe body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees, bisque lower arms and hands, wearing antique ice blue silk ensemble, undergarments, stockings, leather shoes signed "3". Condition: generally excellent, one finger of left hand is restored. Marks: A. 3 T. (head) 3 (left shoulder). A.T. (right shoulder). Comments: Thuillier, circa 1882, the first period model of his illustrious bebe. Value Points: the rarity of the early period A.T. kid-bodied bebe in this small size is further enhanced by its stunning beauty, exemplary sculpting, bisque and painting, spectacular eyes, and original body with beautifully sculpted hands.
