Description
8" (20 cm.) The upper torso female busts are adorned with fancy hats and dresses and are mounted on marble bases. Each is incised "Iffland 1873 Aktien-Gesellschaft H. Glandenbeck". The busts were sculpted by Franz Iffland, Berlin sculptor in the late 19th century, and cast in the important German foundry of Gladenbeck; the foundry was known for producing very high quality bronze castings. Excellent condition. Late 1800s.
