16" (41 cm.) All-wooden doll with carved socket head, carved hair in casual combmarked curls, well-defined ears, painted intaglio dark eyes with white eyedots, closed mouth with wide grinning expression, row of painted teeth, impressed dimples, all-wooden spring-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: very good/excellent, original finish on face and hair, rub on nose tip, some repair/repaint on body. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan 17,'11 USA & Foreign Countries. Comments: Schoenhut, model 204, from Graziano sculptures, the model was made for six months only, 1911. Value Points: rare Schoenhut model with excellent sculpting details of smiling lad, with well-defined hair.
