8" (20 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta head, brown sculpted hair drawn loosely to the back of head, sculpted eyes, mouth modeled closed, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, blue painted stockings, black shoes, and wearing original multi-layered folklore costume including coiffe and coral brooch from the village of Cervera, historic realm of Naples. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s, very choice rare miniature presipio with beautiful painting and superb preservation.
