Bisque socket head with plump rounded face,blue glass googly side-glancing eyes,dark eyeliner,painted curly lashes,one-stroke brows with ochre shading,round-tipped button nose and accent dots,closed mouth with watermelon smile and shaded lips,brunette mohair bobbed wig over plaster pate,composition and wooden ball-jointed chubby toddler body with plump tummy,side-hip jointing,antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: H made in Germany 12 JDK 221 Ges Gesch. Comments: Kestner,circa 1912,their googly model inspired by Kewpie (which,incidentally,Kestner also produced). Value Points: wonderful googly in rarest large size 12,finest quality bisque,original body and body finish.
