16" (41 cm.) Amber tinted bisque socket head portraying Chinese child, black painted hair with stippled detail around the face, brown glass sleep eyes in narrow almond shape, painted black lashes and feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, two porcelain teeth, tongue, amber tinted composition baby body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Kestner, circa 1912, their 243 model of Chinese baby. Value Points: very rare painted hair variation, wearing Chinese silk costume, original body and body finish.
