8 1/2" (22 cm.) One-piece wooden head and torso, painted black hair with tendrils of painted curls onto forehead, painted facial features, blue eyes, tiny nose, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, painted red flat shoes. Condition: generally excellent, original painted finish with some age rubs. Comments: Grodnertal, circa 1850. Value Points: nicely painted hair, articulated body, wearing antique cotton print dress and undergarments.
