Description
10" (25 cm.) Bisque socket head, very deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, softly-tinted rose eye shadow, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, waist-length blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, tiny flake at right ear lobe. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 1 (and artist checkmarks) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1888. Value Points: pristine unplayed with condition of the desirable petite bebe, with beautiful original wig, original body, body finish, Jumeau earrings, original chemise, antique shoes.
