Description
12" x 16" case. The wooden framed case with glass front displays a velvet-lined interior displaying four miniature dolls of porcelain and bisque, each with sculpted hair (the bisque doll with rare brown hair), painted facial features, muslin stitch-jointed body, porcelain limbs, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1880. Value Points: charming presentation, the dolls are portrayed in a "garden" of colorful handmade woolen flowers.
