Description
17" (43 cm.) Cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted hair, facial features and complexion, shaded blue eyes with white eyedots, black and brown upper eyeliner, accented nostrils, closed mouth, brown painted hair with forelock curls, stitch-jointed shoulders, disc-jointed wide hips, separately-stitched thumbs, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, some wear to fabric of right calf. Marks: Kathe Kruse (left foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1915. Value Points: charming child with wistful expression, beautifully painted eyes.
