Description
11" (28 cm.) Full-body porcelain lady in the 18th century manner, with sculpted grey hair and yellow bonnet decorated with Dresden flowers, with intricately-sculpted and painted costume, her left arm extended holding a cluster of grapes in her hand, and her right arms gathering her apron which is filled with various fruits. Marks: (blue stamp, maker uncertain). Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1900, the facial modeling, style of hair painting and Dresden flowers are suggestive of the early models from Dressel & Kister Co.
